Theo of Golden
Allen Levi
"Completely without marketing or social media, Theo of Golden has become a blockbuster of epic proportions!" – Washington Post»
"For something to be truly good, it must contain love. Nothing is as it should be if it isn't built on love."
One morning, a stranger arrives in the town of Golden. No one knows who he is or where he comes from. His name is Theo, and he has come to town by chance – or has he? He visits the local café, where ninety-two pencil portraits hang on the walls. They were created by a local artist and depict the residents of Golden. One by one, Theo begins to buy the pictures and return them to their "rightful owners." With each handover, a story is told, a friendship is born, and a life is changed.
Theo of Golden is a story about seeing and being seen, about the power of generosity, and about the invisible threads of kindness that bind us together.
